IOS13 beta Carplay support HUD now ,did your car work?
Apple said the IOS13 new Carplay support second display output and HUD. https://www.apple.com/ios/ios-13-preview/features/
I just update my iphone to IOS13 beta3,link to my Mercedes E300 2019 , The new carplay UI it's amazing ! But the dashboard navigation arrow (HUD) still not show ,only music and phone show up like IOS12 carplay.
I use Baidu Carlife in IOS13 and android phone it is work,the dashboard navigation arrow (HUD) show up just fine.
Any one work ?

Remember that Beta software on iOS devices while in Beta is incremental. You don't have a ready for prime time software on your phone. You should use the Report a Bug link you were provided when you signed up for the Beta.

I'm wondering by HUD in CarPlay iOS 13, they mean using your phone's screen as the HUD (by laying on the top of your dash where it would display the navigation arrows. There are currently a number of apps that do that (independently of CarPlay.

I'd be surprised if CarPlay could access any car's HUDs....but would love to be proven wrong.

Hi. Been using ios13 beta since June.
The second screen feature isn’t the one where the phone’s screen is independent (that’s its own feature). The second screen is that the manufacturer has a new API to take a second stream of data to use on a HUD or other second screen.
I seriously doubt that MB will change the HUD on current cars to accommodate this.

Carplay also can use Baidu map which same map as in Baidu Carlife but did not show hud info,so I guess maybe Carplay can easy open this channel to any map we use ,don't know the reason apple don't do this.
