17 E400 Wagon -Check Surrounding Vehicles?
Sorry another newbie question. Should the graphic of my car and red squares pop up on nav screen while driving or stopped at a light? Happened yesterday as I was in middle lane stopped at a light with vehicles on each side of me and just now while driving. Kind of freaked me out. Thanks.

One of the surrounding cars wasn't a Ferrari or Lamborghini, was it? In which case the message should have read "Check OUT Surrounding Vehicles".

Lol no there was a bus to the right and not sure what was on my left yesterday. It was as if another vehicle was too close - not sure - just happened 2 days in a row. Maybe the 98 degree temperature!

It sometimes does that when it thinks that objects (like other cars) are close to your vehicle. Most of the times that isn't really the case so you can just ignore it and it will disappear.....
