Subwoofer install
Hi
I have a 2019 e300 with the small burmester system. I find the bass unsatisfying and i am planning to install a subwoofer in the trunk.
I understand the basics but I am wondering how to go about connecting the sub to the audio system.
As I understand there is an amplifier for the burmester system already in the trunk, is it enought to tap into to that with a subwoofer kit and running power from the battery to get it functioning properly? Or do I have to tap into the head unit. Has anyone done this and can recommend a sub.
Also I´m planning to install the sub under the load floor of the trunk well aware of the loss of audio quality but dont want to intrude in the limited trunk space, will it affect bass significantly?
