I noticed that the forward image on my screen was blurry and checked the camera and found it was broken. I think it must have been hit by a stone while I was driving. Has this happened to anyone else?
The dealer has quoted $3k (about USD2k) to replace the camera and I have filed an insurance claim for it.

Wow! Talk about a massive over-charge. The camera can't cost more than $300 tops. Add in the minimum labor charge to swap it out, which is another $400 and you're up to $700. So even if the dealership wants to round it up to an even grand, that is way less than $3000. Try another dealership.
