red battery light on intermittenly
2010 e350 estate Re-con alternator and new battery fitted,battery shop says alternator faulty!!

Wrong subforum. But contact the shop that reconditioned the alternator and have them take a look at it. Might have been sloppy or something might have come loose during shipping/installing? Have you had it diagnosed at a shop?
