The sellers never tell you that.
Outside of this, they look pretty good.
Yeah, they don' tell it. I've figured out when saw the video of new vents and pics of installation process. On original ones how they are closed? Is they used the original two buttons with different mechanism or they don't even exist and opening/ closing is by center of the vents like non-original vents? Although, there is a way to remove two original buttons if you install this China products, you must change the central decoration element where with one that don't have two holes for buttons of closing/opening. Of course this will increase the money of hole process but it will be like OEM. I'm not sure about rear vents. But for me, this is not a big issue to have 2 useless buttons on front dash.Originally Posted by sagres1
Do not forget that the two original buttons that control the opening of the original vents, just below them, will be rendered useless. The opening and closing of the new vents is controlled by the center of them. The sellers never tell you that.

Ours are 64 colors ~~, 2017 is without multicolors, 2018-2021 is with multi-colors, that is all the different...

Has anyone tried these on a post facelift 2021 E63? I think the mbux system is different from previous years? So will these work?

Multi colors on the 2017 is only a software upgrade, I have a 2017 E300 with P3 package. I had the multi color 64 color added. I also changed all my front air vents with OEM, rears are not available in OEM because OEM rears on the coupe are larger diameter. I also have aftermarket led rotating tweets in the front doorsOriginally Posted by incarpassion

That LED vent kit. Has it become a standard feature? My vents illuminate red and blue depending on temperature selected. I don’t know if there are 64 colors though.
