That's why there's a HOLD button that keeps it open until you close it. I use it when opening manually and working in the yard, or open and drive in with the car, hit HOLD to keep it there while I take out the garbage or whatever.

My model does not have a hold button and hold is not on the display menu.
TTC is 3 menus deep so it is inconvenient to turn it off/on. It isn't on the myQ app either.
You must have a very different control set model than mine. Oh well.
I use HomeLink built into the car and my cell phone app when I'm away from the car.

I have a Chamberlain B970 1.25 HP opener. My TTC close settings are the same as yours. I do not have a Hold button. I use MyQ most of the time, especially when I'm gone from the premises and need to allow access..
