Lost Homelink memory & Auto folding mirrors

This is the 2nd time now in 4,000 miles. Each time the box for auto folding mirrors on lock is still checked. Unchecking the auto folding mirror on lock doesn't wake up this feature but manually folding and opening the mirrors does wake it up again. But my Homelink memory appears to be reset too.

What am I doing wrong? (Does this behavior only follow one key fob?) Or what's wrong with my car? Does this happen to anyone else?

Do they fold when you touch the door handle to lock the car? The key fob doesn’t need to be taken out of your pocket. Walk up to the car and open the door. When leaving, touch the square and it locks.

Normally they fold when I touch the sensor area of the door handle (key in pocket). Worked great, since brand new. But twice now in the past couple months, the car "forgets" these 2 settings (Homelink garage door opener pairing + auto-folding mirrors). The first time it happened, I assumed I did something to "reset" these 2 unrelated settings. But now that it's happened twice (and the same 2 unrelated settings are lost)? I'm starting to suspect a problem with the car remembering my settings.

Dealer needs to run fault codes and check for software update(s) under warranty.

I hate to make a special trip to the dealer just for this (and I've had so much practice, I can re-program my Homelink in 5 minutes now, so it's more of an annoyance), but it happened again yesterday. This time the mirrors failed to fold automatically, which was my first clue I was about to lose Homelink. The infotainment screen also said that some kind of OTA software/map update had been successfully loaded too. I noticed the stereo "forgot" its place on my music playlist (it was playing the correct/current song, but the playlist had been replaced with all of the songs on my USB thumbdrive. Coincidence? Sure enough, the Homelink garage door opener stopped working yesterday and I had to re-program it.
