Driver & Passenger Door Panels
I am more than willing to admit that there are more features on the E 450 wagon that I do not understand and then there are features that I do. However, every time I get into the automobile I am flummoxed by the design of the holding compartments in the doors. They are different so there must be some giant German scheme involved. Any ideas?

No. We/I are speaking about the molded bottom sections of driver and front passenger door panels. The drivers side almost looks like it could hold some unknown kind of beverage, but the passenger side has a shape that looks like a slide. They are both designed with such specificity that they were obviously meant for some purpose. But what?
