engine oil top up
Does anyone know what engine oil type/grade goes into 2016/2017 w213 e220d?
Im getting various results when searching, different mercedes oil types...
My car has been telling me to top up with 1ltr of oil for the past week when doing long journeys, ive read to put in 1/3 at a time so i dont overfill it. Bizarre really never had that type of advice on the cars ive owned in the past...

How many km are your trips? You probably have an oil leak. Common spot is turbo oil hose. Had that on a W212 E250BTW4 (US), dripped into the alternator and killed it. There were never any oil drips on the ground. Our GLK250BT and our W213 E300W4 (gas) do not consume any noticeable oil, even on 2000km trips.

For diesels, I believe 229.52 can be used where 229.51 is called for. Basically anything on the list below.
