Cold air intake options?

There are many options. What engine do you have?
I don't really mean to be rude but have you tried to google your question? After some research, post specific questions about products which would probably yield better responses for you then this generic post.

IMHO, if these things provided any real benefit, MB engineers would incorporate them in the initial design. The primary purpose of these aftermarket intakes is to relieve pressure in your wallet...

Not sure about the E300, but the E450 and AMG appear to route the two air intakes right up to the front, near the grill and above the rad, which should bring in cool air. From pics I see online of the E300, it does the same thing. In fact, even pics of the E's engine in 2013 show the same thing. So, they're already getting cool air. Nothing much else to be gained, I would think.

Yeah, on newer cars, all the old tricks don't work anymore. Don't even try a K&N filter, those are obsolete now as the oil from the filter tends to coat the MAF and cause problems, not increase performance. For more power, a tune is basically what everyone does. Not sure that's really worth it on a 4 cylinder.

Agreed. It's not exactly new technology; my 1956 Austin Healey 100M had a cold air box and ducting to in front of the radiator.
