This product is for low configuration car, which original does not come with this tailgate lifter, and many car owners want to add this function to their car.
At least in the USA I think all the 213's come standard with this feature. Might be different in Europe I don't know. With the exception being the Cabriolets as there is not enough room for this gear on those cars.
