Android Auto Crashing Periodically
Has anyone been experiencing routine crashes of Android Auto? 2019 E450 with Samsung Galaxy Note 9. Worked perfectly for the 1st 8 months I've had the car. Now it runs fine in the morning 30 mi commute, but almost always crashes after just a few minutes in the afternoon commute. Routinely running Waze and SXM Radio. Google forums suggested replacing cable -- done that and it hasn't changed the situation. Wondering if new app updates have introduced a conflict with COMAND or what other issues there may be. Haven't seen anyone write about this with relation to MB yet so thought I would try asking here.

Thank you - will try that with the Service Dept....hope I don't get the runaround I've seen some others report about dealer reluctance to provide update. I checked my version last night as reading 03.75. I appreciate the advice!

Update: Went in to Service Dept. today....they claim they scanned all service bulletins and LI(s)? and nothing on updating COMAND would resolve Android Auto issues....so basically I was told to try with a different phone. Basically I got the Heisman. :-(

Is your Galaxy Note 9 on Android Pie (version 9)? My dealer simply updated the software when I complained about AA. As long as the car is under warranty, the dealer gets paid for doing the update. You should try another dealer. BTW I use a Galaxy S 9 in the car.
