Black Door Handles?
Hi All,
I've searched here with no luck. Anyone have experience or can share info on blacking out the chrome part of the door handles? Would be much appreciated.

You could use vinyl but that will most likely disable the keyless locking feature.

Vinyl won’t effect anything. I had mine done, no problems. I suggest to have it vinyl wrapped because it’ll completely cover the chrome.

Thanks for the input! I was concerned about wrapping an area that would be constantly touched/handled - how are yours holding up?

FYI The ebay items don't replace the handle. They're a stick on part.

Vinyl wrapping them is fairly easy enough. Won't affect the the touch locking functions of the doors.

Thanks again guys. Will definitely wrap them - I've had the chrome window surrounds, grill perimeter and that one piece of chrome along the trunk all done in black vinyl. Didn't even think to get him to do the handles as I thought it wouldn't hold up. Happy to hear it will.
