How do I turn the radio off?

Seems like a silly question but I cannot turn the radio off. The manual references turning on the radio via the radio button. But, it won't turn off, even after hitting the radio button.

I've been having other problems i.e Sirius chanels freezing. Any thoughts?

That’s the circle button with the line through it too the right of your mouse pad. I believe you have to hold it down for a few seconds as I remember to turn off the radio. That’ll reset your command when you turn it back on and maybe help with your freezing up issue.

To be clear, it's the passenger's volume control. Push and hold to power off COMAND. Push again to power on.

just pushing the off button briefly turns the radio off
and holding it until radio powers back on is a reboot.

or just push the volume scroll wheel down to mute the radio. that way the screen remains on.
