Don't even go for a damaged car dude, find a new one. it's not worth the hassle, and potential damage showing up on car fax.

Yep, and region to region.

I have not heard region to region: I believe residuals and MF are both set by MB Financial. Those rates can be gotten from the dealer. As I lease in the NY Metro area, where there are over 20 dealers within 50 miles, mark up of the MF is not possible - too many dealers competing for your business.

But in other areas, I would insist on seeing the "base" rate that MB Financial gives to each dealer. It is printed out and the rates are good for a stated period and can change every 30 days.

I meant different states. I'm not sure exactly how it varies, though.

In the metro NY area, NJ, PA, CT and NY both residuals and MF are the same.

I have no reason to believe there are different MF and residuals for different parts of the continental US. Alaska and Hawaii are always different.

With the internet, and the ability to buy from any region, I cannot imagine MB Financial having different MF and residuals for different areas.

Different MF and residuals would part different regions at a disadvantage to other reasons. Those regions would demand the same MF and residuals to be competitive.

That may be one region then. Are they the same numbers in California? Anyway, this is all info that's available online.

Actually the information available online from Edmund's for example is not accurate: It is nothing more than posting by individual members and their experience.

According to my dealer, MF and residuals are national - not regional.

I believed you until you said "according to my dealer" lol
But I'll take your word for it. I'm not an expert on this.

Why would my dealer, who I have bought several cars from, who has shown me the printout from MB Financial for both MF and residuals do otherwise?

The actual quotes are by people who supposedly have access to the figures. Individual members are asking for the quotes. One of the questions asked for any quote is zip code, which makes one think it does vary from location to location. In examining answers there and here, I see no real discrepancies or errors. But then I don't have my own table to compare them to. And both locations seem to have a real lack of what "Standard MF" is.
