2021 W213 Sedan Body Refresh
Hot off of the presses. I have a very good friend of mine that owns a MB dealership and he keeps me up to date on what he knows MB is doing in the future and as expected the W213 Sedan for model year 2021 is doing a body refresh for next year and not to my surprise the W213 Sedan variant is getting what he described as a drastic body refresh for 2021. It will look a lot more like the current "S" class sedan with very pronounced breaks in the curvature in the side body panels, not many changes in the actual electronics of the car. Also, the new 2021 W223 will be light years ahead of the current W222 which will be orderable starting in about a year from now with deliveries anticipated in June of 2021. Apparently or what I've been told is that the MB suppliers are what is causing the 6 month delay in the launch of the W223 as it was originally scheduled to launch in September of 2021 and although I find it hard to believe, if you're were planning to buy a 2020 "S" class, save your money as the new W223 is supposed to be light years ahead of the current W222 which isn't too shabby in its own right but the new 2021 is supposed to be far more elegant than the current model and the interior is also totally redesigned versus the current model and we'll even get a bunch of new colors to choose from, which would be a nice change. Personally I'm looking forward to the facelift for the 2021 W213, a great car in its own right but the styling looks pretty stooghy compared to the "S" or "C" class. I have a 2020 E300-4matic and I love the car but the body is very much vanilla compared to the other MB sedans.

Thanks for posting that. Good to see that the steering wheel will have a version that does /not/ have those double bars to each side, which I really don't like.
