Permanently Live Fuse - Dashcam (again)
Hi,
I have searched and read a lot posts about this but can't find the answer.
I have a Blackvue 900S 2Ch dashcam wired through a Power Magic box for parking mode in the rear (boot) trunk fuse box.
The car is a 2019 E63S saloon.
The switched fuse is the cigarette lighter and works as expected.
The permanent live I have used is the remote boot opener on the bottom row of fuses.
The issue is that the camera keeps disconnecting and switching off after 2 hours.
The power magic is set to infinity and 12v. The battery has never dropped below 12.7v and I've had it on charge.
So, before I go testing all the other fuses and waiting for 2 hours each time ........... does anyone know which fuses are permanently live in the boot?

Hi, I’m having the same issue on my GLC 2020, did you find a way to have a permanent 12V fuse in the rear/trunk or anywhere?
For now I’m connected in the rear/ trunk fuse box with 66min. parking time.
The car is full with these “false” permanent fuses. 😅

I used to have such a setup, but forgot which fuse remains active .. sorry!

no sure if it help as that was a w212 so maybe the fusebox has changed
