Interested in doing the conversion to the digital cluster. How easy was it to do this and does all the functionality work? Do you have someone who can do this?
I will see it is ez, I swap the cluster myself you can also have someone handy maybe at an auto shop do it for you and had someone do the remote coding for me. But keep in mind that you need SDC4 and DTS Monaco do calibrate the mileage.
Hoping to figure out the dashcam installation for my car. The integration is beautiful.
I've looked on AliExpress and found a few units. It seems that most are compatible, at least ostensibly, with both W212 and W213.
Something like this or this seem to be candidates, however the installation instructions are far from clear. The first indicates to run wires to the fusebox, which TonyC0101 avoided. I would love to avoid this as well if possible. If TonyC0101 or anybody can recommend a specific unit they like and can be powered from the rain sensor that would be incredibly helpful!

Also does anybody know if the cover is a different size on cars with/without the stereo cameras for Distronic? I have the stereo cameras.
It turns out that there are many variants of the sensor cover depending on the sensor package for the car. Since I have the Driver Assistance Package with the stereo cameras and the rain sensor, I have an unusually wide cover on my W212. I've messaged photos and measurements to 12 different AliExpress merchants. 9 have said that they don't produce that cover, 1 has it in black or grey but not beige, and I'm still awaiting response from 2.
I'm wondering how bad black would look with my beige interior...
Just a heads up to anybody wanting to do this installation to be very careful to get the right unit for your car.
How did you replace the analog display with the fully digital display? Did you personally code it? I have yet to seen someone fully convert their display without issues.
Hey guys, finally finished all my planned upgrade to my 2017 E300, just want to share this lovely W213 with you guys as well as post some spare/idle items that I get off from my car for sale.
First, a list of upgrade I did to my car:
1. Full function Multibeam-headlight (Done with remote coding)
2. Dash Camera that attaches to the rearview mirror unit (No extra wire/wiring needed! Clean and neat)
3. Burmaster 3D Rotary Speaker (Not OEM)
4. Side Mirror Projector Light
5. Rear Door Projector Light
6. Full digital cockpit with AMG GT style (The design is different from the original E class digital cluster)

Does the rain sensor have a constant power supply?
I got the same cluster as you, but I can't find the Led light plugs of my car after taking off the original cluster. Which means, I got everything set up without led light up. And could you please share with me how to get two more git for the digital cluster?
Can you please elaborate on the Full digital cockpit upgrade from the old type. Was the full cockpit sourced from China or OM part. Would appreciate hints and idea of the prices.

Where did you get the mercedes benz projector lights from?
You should seriously make a thread about that dashcam - installation - where to buy(exactly) and how well it performs.
The look of it is sublime, the ones I have seen that looks similar to this powers from the OBDII outlet - basically letting some chinese hardware/software connect directly to the car - that is not going to happen in my car:-)
also I thought that adding multi beam headlights would require some additional cameras?
Yes. Some feedback on if you are happy with it...operation, video quality, etc. I understand a dashcam will be available on the 2021 refresh model (about time). Some years ago I looked at a similar unit, one that replaced the mirror cover. I forget the maker/seller. Autowerks, perhaps. I didn't find the video quality as good as the "regular" cams from Thinkware, Blackvue, etc. Built-in would be nice.
Update: AerowerkZ, rather than autowerks.. Don’t know if they still exist but here’s a link from W212 models.

Hey thx, and yes the digital cluster is purchase from China which I believe is taken from another MB could be either E or GT class, the upgrade process is not easy to elaborate in any means, PM me if you have a specific question or get stuck, I am willing to help

Hey man , I changed my cluster from analog to digital , everything is the same as you including the amg gt menu everything is programmed in. except my mileage its now displaying ---- , do u know a solution to fixing this without buying a mercedes c4 star, i have the openport 2.0 so far
Hey Tony , I have the same thing with my car right now. Exact same AMG menu and all , everything works correctly on it. The only thing is the mileage displays ----- , I bought this dash off of ebay. Everything is programmed I just need to do programming for the mileage because right now it displays -----. I dont have a c4 star or sd connect or anything , I do have xentry passthru using a fake openport 2.0. Any suggestion on programming the mileage?
