Has anyone installed illuminated door sill plates on their 4-door W213?
One retailer has told me my car's VIN indicates I can only install the plates on my front sills and not the rears.
Is there a difference in wiring looms based on slight trim level and options differences that makes installing rear illuminated plates impossible?
Or are the OEM sills plug and play and the retailer doesn't want to recommend rear sill plates because they would require hard wiring/splicing?

My MY19 E 450 has white metal door sills and all four read Mercedes-Benz. With thanks only the front doors have the logo projectors. What an embarrassment. I would have liked the projectors without the gaudy logo. The illuminated door sills are not quite as bad, but I would leave well enough alone.
