Mercedes Benz E200d 2017
No ambient light?!
i have bought a mercedes e200d 2017 which i am really happy with. but the car apperenly does not have ambient lighting?
Is it not standard to have ambient lighting in mercedes e class from 2017?

I have never seen a Mercedes E class without the ambient light ever

Standard features vary by marketing region and country. The US has more standard features included in the US pricing model.

I guess it comes down to what is chosen when its bought. Did you check if you have the menu or if the lights are there? Maybe it can be retro-fitted?

the vehicle definitely looks light on the options. no upgraded sound, 200 diesel, even the navi screen looks tiny.

If you have that small screen in the E Class you're more than likely not going to have the ambient lighting. My cousin in Europe has the same model with the non-leather seats and he does not have ambient lighting.

In Switzerland, it was an optional function in 2016-2017. Thereafter in 2018, it was included in the standard function.

EQE SUV AMG-line 350+
in the Netherlands too you can buy a very basic version without (hardly) any options.
i think this is especially possible in countries where cars are expensive
