Touch Pad Buttons
Hi,
ive noticed lately the 3 touchpad buttons sometimes become unresponsive and do not “click” - then suddenly start clicking again when pressed. I’ve read on the forums that a software update could fix this and dealer suggested this as well. However I thought this is a mechanical “click” not a “haptic feedback” type of deal? how could software affect these buttons? I feel them click with the engine / command off after pressing them 15-20 times suddenly they don’t click anymore. then suddenly start clicking again.
When they do actually work - It’s not like there is anything “stuck” under them or anything like that. They are fine.
the car is currently at the dealer getting a software upgrade to supposedly fix this as well as other issues I have been having with the command unit.
Issues like freezing/black screens/car play/Siri unresponsive/some settings not loading when switching between profiles.
