Thank you, fellow MB World members!
I picked up my new '21 E450 Coupe yesterday. The build process took about three months. My initial impression of the car is excellent but there is so much to learn. This is my first Mercedes.
I ordered the Air Body Control Suspension as an option, which I heard can be problematic. So I knew I wanted to purchase the three-year MB extended warranty as I plan to keep the car for a long time. I never really thought the price of a warranty was something that could be negotiated, until I joined this forum last fall. I reached out to the finance guy at an MB dealership in Louisville -- his name and contact info have appeared in a number of threads -- and he quoted me $2,150 for a three-year 75K ELW. The finance guy at the dealership where I picked up the car quoted me $2,900 for the exact same warranty. I told him that I was going to buy it from the Louisville dealership. Within seconds, he dropped the price to match the $2,150. I opted to buy it from him to simplify the purchase process.
To me, this is one of the key benefits of this forum ... sharing information with each other to help save a few bucks every now and then. So, thank you, fellow MB World members!

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Great congrats on the new car. Keep us up to date with how you feel the car and it's hybrid system with the inline 6 motor works out and if you have any issues. I've thought about a 2021 all Terrain. Still not ready to pull the trigger anytime soon at this point. I really do like my 2019 E450 wagon with its twin turbo V6.

negotiations are part of the process. I don’t think the dealer did anything wrong.

Actually, the seats are macchiato beige. The bright sun washed out the photo a bit to make everything appear lighter than it is.

Love the yacht blue. It's actually a deeper blue than what appears in the photo. I was afraid it might be too light but it looks great.

Heard mixed things about the driver assistance package. Didn't think I would use a lot of the features. Preferred to spend my money on the upgraded suspension, heads-up display and massaging seats.

2023 GLE450, 2021 E350 / Used to drive: 2019 E300, 2021 + 2020 GLE350, 2019 E450 Wagon(s), 2017 E300
Congrats, Elvisfan! That color combo looks really great. Once you experience the driver assist functions - especially the active cruise control - you will not want to be without them - major reduction in fatigue on longer drives. Enjoy the car!

Actually, I ordered a C300 Cabriolet. I just couldn’t pull off an E series. Red with a red interior. I’m not very good at keeping the interior clean. I am looking forward to the active CC. My wife has it. It was standard on her car. Difference between Japanese and German. I know this is the wrong forum. I researched the E.

2022 E450 Cabriolet
That's a great looking color combo , especially the beige/blue interior .I'm about to order a similar car with Rubeliite red exterior and beige/ red interior ,but cant decide on wheels (18 or 19 inch ) and interior trim . Are your wheels 18 inch ,and what color is the trim ; it looks dark brown ? I also will not be ordering the driver assistance package - didn't miss it on my current c43. Again great looking car and would appreciate any info on the wheels . Also , can you not purchase the extended warranty any time before the basic warranty expires ?

Just the standard 18" wheels that come with the AMG trim. Wood is brown ash (H06). I was considering going with the light brown sen as I was concerned the brown ash would be too dark. But that's not the case and I'm very pleased with it. Re the extended warranty, you don't have to buy right away, but the price does go up if you don't buy within 30 days of purchasing the car.
