Anyone Ever Put on Those Front Grill Fog Light Area Silver Trim Pieces?

Looking to pick these up. Was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. They're held on with double sided tape, wondering how tough it would be to take it off if I end up not liking it? Anyone purchase these?

I like mine. Blends nicely with the lower shiny piece in front.

Just like the new fancy EQS I saw a picture of recently.

We always like shiny accents - not a fan of black wheels that look like the owner was too lazy to wash the wheels.

Painted our wheels silver. All works for us. I get lots of comments on the car.

YMMV.

I would advise against buying any sort of aftermarket kit. The entire part car be ordered which includes the black fake grill area and I believe it all comes out in one piece. You do probably have to handle the parking sensor wire attachment. But the actual part only has chrome at the tips, and the entire fin isn't chrome which I feel like is more aesthetically pleasing.

I did. Love them!

They fit well and are stuck on extremely well. I tried to remove one and it won’t budge. They came with this little wipe in a packet that is some kind of adhesion promoter...

Yeah I actually prefer the full grill area part with the silver tips but I can't find that online. I would imagine an OEM version of this would be significantly more expensive which is why I am hesitant.

Looks amazing! Any chance you have some more pictures of the front?

Yeah I actually prefer getting a grill piece with the silver trim on the tips only. The problem is I cant find it anywhere online and I'm pretty sure an OEM part would be pretty expensive.

It's a shame that MB hasn't figured out a way to combine the lit star with radar functionality.

I ordered a set of the stick on fins and I didn't end up using them. The cuts weren't quite right, but at a distance would be hard to tell. I plan to get the 43/53 OEM parts listed above, just looks better to me.

Another satisfied customer. Double sided tape has held these covers in place almost since the day I bought the vehicle.

I have some OEM E53 silver ones for sale if interested. Will give a good deal on them. I can attach a picture when I get home

I bought them and love them. Have had no problems whatsoever. I thought that area needed some brightening up.
