2017 E300 - I initially thought it was dye from my jeans transferred onto my seat but when I tried using a magic eraser (recommended by others on here) I noticed it was getting darker and it wasn't dye but the tan color was coming off. I called my dealership and they advised it's cosmetic and wont warranty it. I have never had this issue before with my Lexus, Buick, or Cadillac. I happened to be in the area of my dealership so I took it in there for them to look at it in person and they agreed to warranty the seat but I'm worried now that it will happen again. I have started noticing other areas as well when I try to clean the interior.
Anyone else have this issue? Recommendations on how to prevent it?
