I just bought my first Benz. I test drove a few times and was able to make the map show full screen in the cluster guage. Since I picked up the car I am not able to do it. Al I am able to do if put a map in the center or directions in the center. There is no option for a full screen.

 

Is it the same car, that you test drove, which you now own? If not it could be a difference in software I guess

 

It’s not the same car because I did a build back in December for a 2021 e450 coupe and what I test drove was a e450 coupe. I’d assume it would be the same because of the mbux system. And it was the same year and model. I was evern surprise that when my car came it didn’t have a air scarf and the few that I did test drive had.

I tried everything. The option the the gauge cluster is missing. I test drove 2 different cars at 2 different times. Yes, both were 21 e450 coupes.
As far as the air scarf both coupes I test drive had a air scarf, which were both coupes not a cabriolet. My car missing those 2 things were disappointing.

 

The Airscarf is not an option on the coupe, only on the convertible.

 

I test drove 2 e450 coupes with an air scarf. One in Brooklyn NY and the other where I ultimately made a purchase, Albany, NY.

 

I seriously doubt that. Airscarf is standard equipment on the convertible, not available on the coupe. Post your VIN

Also im not buggin lol I drove 2 cars with it in 2 different locations. Plus if you look them up on YouTube you will see them. Everyone is seen had them.

The map is what im most interested about because that would be software. Can you anything about seats now.

 

Airscarf is code 403 your vehicle is not equipped as such, check codes on data card.

 

Your VIN doesn't show the Airscarf in standard or optional equipment. You do have the ventilated seats. Your car was a December build and it went through a bunch of revisions before it was built, including a Baumuster change, which means it probably started off a a convertible build.
My guess is that the wrong headrests were put in your car and a few others. I just received an E 450 coupe that I built for a customer and while it has ventilated seats it has the correct non Airscarf headrests.
As for the map, there is an option in the Navigation menu on the drivers display that allows you to go full screen.

 

Thanks for the info. Had no idea that the car had revisions since I put the build in.
As for the map, on the drivers screen when I go to map only 2 options are there which is a small version on the map on the infotainment or the directions. On the cars that I test drive there was the 3rd option to make the screen bigger to take up the whole screen. Ill take some pics and post them here when I get a chance.

Your correct thats what I seen on the ones I test drive and on the internet. The pics I just took a minute ago. Its only giving me 2 options.

 

Looks like you need to take it into service and find out why.

 

In another thread with the same problem(A class though) they mention that the third option only comes if the car has augmented reality... maybe you didn’t check this option when ordering?

That would suck because when I ordered the car augmented reality and the dash cam wasn't even an option until like 2 weeks before delivers

FYI, I have found the that the one finger tap and two finger tap only works when the navigation is in use. The rest of the time you have to use two fingers and squeeze in our out. I am working on a MBUX use posting.
