MB USA Rep?
Hello, just got bad news from dealer that my 2017 E300 that just entered CPO warranty in March and crossed the 50K mark last month needs front struts. Apparently this is not covered under CPO, but dealer suggested I “contact MB USA.” Unfortunately with all that’s going on in the world, We haven’t pursued earlier as it wasn’t really noticeable and was sold on the CPO just extending the warranty when we purchased. Any suggestions on the how or where to do this. Are they represented in the forum? Thanks much…Steve

I am just curious, did someone at the dealer state or infer this would have been covered under the original/MB warranty? While this may be a reach -- what is the normal life expectancy of struts? That aside, even if you were still under 50,000 miles, and under the original/MB warranty, and you took the car in for service -- if they discovered the car needed struts -- wouldn't their position be something like, sorry, this is a wear-and-tear item, and it's not covered(?).
