21 E450 Wagon rear camera cover / calibration
I've seen the notice posted about the rear camera cover opening at reduce speeds, and that it's in calibration mode. But is this calibration mode reset every time the car starts? I took to the dealer, and they insist it's standard operating. The GLE loaner I had did not do this, and only opens the rear camera cover when you engage the camera or put it in reverse.
The dealer said this is unique to the 450 Wagon, but that doesn't make sense to me. The behavior stops after doing the slow roll in a straight line, but starts again the next time I start the car. Is anyone else with this car experiencing this? Is there a way to verify official intended behavior with Mercedes?

We bought a 21 E450 wagon and have the same experience, once you go over 18 mph it will stop, but when you slow down below 18 mph it will open again. We had 14 E350 wagon and never experienced the problem. Dealer could not fix and told me it was normal, so interested in a solution, sorry could not help, but searching for answer.
