WTF? Little annoying things bothering me with this car

Purchased this 2018 E400 Coupe new in Dec 2017. Car currently has just under 17k miles.
Had battery already replaced at 14k miles.
Replaced both retracting seatbelts because they remained slack after returning to their position.
Recently had one of the motors that closes the trunk replaced because it was damaged. How did it get damaged? You got me. Nothing ever blocked the trunk from closing creating stress on the motor.
Latest issue has to do with the light in the door. Two months ago, the drivers side fell out because one of the clips broke. Why it should break is beyond me as we do not slam the door.
Went to wash the car today and upon opening the passenger side door, guess what falls out? Yes, the light at the bottom of the door.
Same issue as the drivers side door. Holding it in with tape until my 7/17 appointment which was already scheduled.
My 2016 Audi A6 has had no annoying issues such as this thus far.
-no more live maps - stops after 3 years. Apparently because MB switched to a new vendor - UNBELIEVABLE! (had to resort to CarPlay which I managed to make wireless)
-cannot change temperature to Celsius (US car). You can change distance to KM/H, but you can’t change temp to Celsius. Same problem with a 2012 C250 we had, but thought they would get around to fixing this obvious thing
- Auto start/stop (***) sometimes turns the car off completely (meaning you have to put the car in park, restart and then put back in to drive - all while people are honking at you). Apparently this is a known AMG issue. Going in for service next week
-much too harsh in comfort mode
-metal grate on top of the dash started rattling and vibrating (fixed with felt tape)
-overhead console also creaked and rattled (also fixed with felt tape)
-no 12V outlet in the front (other than USB). Installed my own in passenger footwell (where there is supposed to be one, but not in mine)
-gear selector where a normal car (including all our other ones) have the wiper stalk. Every time I get into my wife’s Q8 I start the wipers while “putting the car in reverse”.
Other than that it is the most fun on 4 wheels that I have ever had, and other than the *** issue and the minor rattles it has been trouble free, so I will probably get another one.
But to be perfectly fair, 2017 is the first year of production for c208, while 2016 A6 is nearing the end of its lifecycle after midlife facelift, it's natural that the latter has superior build quality in addition to the usual gap between Mercedes and Audi.

I find the worst bits on w213 are the door panels, the entire centre console including the transmission bulge, the main wood trim, and the overhead console, (honourary mention for the fuel flap that doesn't sit flush with the surrounding panel), on mine and other new E class at the dealerships. Audis, at least the ones in the showrooms, are built like tanks compared to the squeaking mess on w213. 208 may be better on one or more aspects though, being a coupe and coming later.

I originally ordered the First Edition of the new Ford Mustang MachE. For many reason I decided not to take delivery. Am I glad I canceled. If you go to their board, problem after problem with all parts of the car.
My 2019 E450 with 18,000 miles so far has been bullet proof. Best Mercedes I have every owned and this is either my 5th or 6th.

For the most part I skip the menus and use voice commands. It is quick and I do not have to take my eyes off the road.
IIRC one can see a list form of a route by checking for alternative routes.
IIRC navigation turns are generally announced a half mile in advance. Even in my very congested metro area where 6 to 8 lane roads are common I've never had difficulty making a turn or exit.
My real gripe with the car is that when I ordered the '18 model it was only available with the grossly under powered 4 cyl. engine. I won't drive it on trips because of its lack of passing ability - 45 mph to 65 mph. My trips are on predominately 2 lane roads where passing performance is a must. If you've ever been stuck behind a 35 mph logging truck for 15 miles, you know how important passing ability is. I kept my old BMW just for road trips until 2020 when I stopped traveling. I'll probably buy a non-MB car when the E300 warranty expires on its 4th birthday next month.

My 2006 Acura TL did a very nice job storing seat/mirror settings in the FOB. Best implementation I’ve seen actually.
