Interior/car mats...

Hello all...so I just picked up my 2018 E300 4Matic Sport...and the car came with the standard MB interior (carpet) mats...So what have you done as far as upgrading mats? Here in NNJ, we have typical Northeast winter, snow, rain, etc. It's been a bit extreme the last 5 to 10 years, LOL. I was thinking of the WeatherTech FloorLiner (about $180), which offers full, perfect-fit coverage, protection up the side, etc. As an alternative, WeatherTech also has their (standard) All-Weather Floor Mats (about $100), which seem to be excellent floor mats. I had a pair of these in my last MB SUV (an ML350 4Matic).

What have you done to protect the interior, floor lining, carpet, etc.? I am a real newbie here and don't know a lot about the top accessories/add-on's for MB...what's the best, most popular options out there? Thank you very much in advance.

You can do both... Weathertech fitted liners in the front, and if you don't often have rear seat passengers, you can buy the simple Weathertech floor mats for the second row. I did this with my W203 and it worked well. I've done this with my E-Class (W212) as well. But if you have second row passengers alot, the full width WT liner gives better protection.

There are other mat options, such as the sisal fiber mats. But I have no experience with them.

I love my floor mats from CocoMats. I will admit they may be better suited for warmer climates, but they seem durable. They come in a variety of materials and are custom fit to your car. I got driver, passenger, and rear mats for my car about a year and a half ago and have no complaints. I selected the Nylon 6.6 option and they show very little signs of wear and are easy to clean. The attachment points within the mat are a little different than the original MB ones, but they hold securely. I believe they were just under $400 (with tax and shipping) when I bought them.

Very nice. Thanks. Seems expensive, but sounds like they are worth it. We have some rough winters here, I have to walk through a lot of snow, slush, rain, etc., and it can be bad. My regular MB carpet mats in my ML took a real beating. They ended up giving (free) rubber MB mats, and they held up pretty well. But I want to get top quality for my new E class and want to do it right! LOL. Thanks again!

Weather Tech fan...

In October 2009 I bought a C300 sedan and immediately swapped out the OEMs for Weather Tech floor liners. They've been wonderful, and in miserable Chicago winters, essential. Recently, I put the OEMs back in, wondering if they'd feel more luxurious. They do, but even without salt, snow, mud, or much rain, they're dirty in need of cleaning. I'm considering a new E350, if dealers ever get inventory, and if I buy, I'll put in Weather Tech mats/liners without hesitation. Cleaning them is quick and easy, they do the job, pricing is reasonable.

I was not happy with these mats. I purchased custom Lloyd mats for my Audi A6
and the drivers side didn't even cover edge to edge like the OEM mats. Returned.

i too got the Coco mats for my wagon and they are great. As Turbo stated mine too have showed very little signs of wear. i live in Nova Scotia where we have lots of slush and wet winters and was concerned that the mats would not hold up but they have and require very little maintenace. The color choices offered do a great job at hiding the dirt particles on the benz velour mats which in the past required lots of vacumming to keep clean looking. Google their web site and read about them...they are worth the money IMO

Weather Tech floor mats all the way here in the Northeast US.

Got 'em in my E300 Sedan and E350 Wagon. Floor mats and trunk liners. They fit like glove, are easy to clean and protect the interior from dirt and wear.

when I got them for my old Lincoln MKZ hybrid, dthey didn't have the measurements to make it so they sent me paper patterns to cut to fit for my order.

Still using the same ones in my Mercedes after 8 years

We have a full set of WeatherTech floor liners in the GLK all year round. Wife loves them. They remind her of the "trays" that were the floor liners in her 1986 Volvo 240.

In the E400, I switch with the seasons. For winter, I use WeatherTech floor liners, too. (We're in Chicago area.) For spring, summer and fall, I use two sets of carpeted mats -- the OEM carpet mats, with a set of "parts store" black carpet mats on top. The extra carpeting thickness makes it seem like a different car. Much quieter with all that carpet in place. During winter, I just have to put up with the added road and exhaust noise in order to protect the interior of the car from the "stuff" that enters with passengers.

If you're still in the market for hard weather matts and would consider used (new turns quickly to "used" in our neck of the woods come winter lol) I still have my set of Kagu 3DMAXpider (https://www.3dmatsusa.com/material-d...icle_year=2018) from my 2018 E43 which should fit. I'm in Queens (NYC) area if you're interested. I also have OEM carpet mats from the same vehicle (AMG) which are barely used (1 month while I waited for the Kagu's).

I used the Weather Techs in my previous C class 4 years ago. My E300 was given to me by my dealer when I purchased the car. They are great, however the Weather Techs in my opinion has better coverage for a lot less. I think it also comes down to personal preference. I too live in NJ

Well, I have these in my car..... The price does not reflect the quality of them and the fitment.
I have a set for exactly a year now and the driver's one could do with a change (driving every day).

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/163297204112

I used these people before for VW and Toyota.
100% satisfaction.

Now writing about it, I'm going to order a new set for another year.

MB Winter Mats?

I got the MB winter mats for my 2015 C300. Price was $89. in 02/15. All rubber, matched my Silk Beige interior, MB logo. What's not to like?.When spring came, I swapped them for my Silk Beige OE mats. I threw the winter mats in the shower, scrubbed them a little, and hung them to dry. In the fall. I reversed the process. I had to scrub the OE mats hard, but at the end of 5 1/2 years, the light-colored mats still looked good.
