No Jack, No Spare - other yr parts that'd work?
When I got the new baby home (2018 E300 4matic), I lifted the trunk pad to add my normal "emeregency" items to the spare tire well (tarp, sweatshirt, tire plug kit, etc) and was surpriced to see no jack and no spare. Called dealer and asked where they were, and his reply was "Oh they're no longer included.. call roadside if you have a problem". Well,, with this state being shot on money and long on potholes - that's not an acceptable answer!
So.. my first option is to begin searching the local salvage yards.. my questions are:
any idea what jack part numbers would work with my veh?
will any 18" MB spare work with my veh?

Here are the part numbers. Note that the spare is a 19" that has the same revs per mile as the 245/45R18 tire. I bought a tire/wheel from my dealer and scissor jack & handle at Walmart. You don't need the other stuff. The spare can fit forward in the trunk secured with a bungee so it doesn't take much space. Search the forum as there are lots of posts about the topic.
