For the most part, I'm very happy with the 2021. The body cladding is growing on me and the new powertrain is smooth as silk. There's also some nice new tech. The one big problem I have had is a failed 48 volt battery, which has plagued a lot of the 2021 E450's (GLE, sedan, wagon, etc.)

I have to laugh when you guys moan about fuel prices on here. The shortage (it was a shortage of drivers....not a shortage of fuel which caused panic buying triggered by the media) is over now and did not affect me as I had full cars before it started. But at todays exchange rate, normal fuel (not the expensive high test stuff) sets you back $8.43 per UK gallon...which is the same as $7.03 for the smaller US gallon. That's why we drive small engine cars diesels a EVs mostly and why I can drive all day and perhaps see half a dozen V8s....so count your blessing my American friends!!! You still have about the cheapest (and least taxed) fuel in the developed World.

I heard that North America (including USA and Canada) has lesser quality fuel compared to European countries. That also was one of the reasons A45s wasn't brought over to North America our fuel isn't good enough for the the type of tune A45s had. I wasn't complaining about the fuel prices, I am grateful we at least have fuel while UK drivers are struggling to even fill up their vehicles. I just agreed that the prices are insane (compared to previous days) (it is a 7 year record high according to a report)

Canada-Northern side of Great Lakes Adventure

We plan to head north from Panhandle, Florida to Duluth, Mn. Then drive along the northern edge of Great Lakes to Buffalo, NY. We have been waiting for the boarder to open. Does anyone have any comments, relative to the weather we can expect over the next 4-6 weeks? We don't want to drive in ice or snow.

The weather will be good until at least the end of Nov. Beyond that, snow can start at anytime but it shouldn't be in large amounts yet. Mornings will be in high 40's to 50's and afternoon up to low 70's. Are you planning on crossing into Canada? The border has been open since Aug. If you plan to enter Canada you need to register on this app/site (https://arrivecan.cbsa-asfc.cloud-nu...ada.ca/welcome) no more than 72 hours prior to crossing the border. You will need to upload to this app/site proof of double vaccination as well as a recent (less than 72 hours before crossing the border) negative COVID test. Without these things you will not be allowed entry into Canada. Here is more info: https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid

Come enjoy our beautiful foliage in Algonquin or the province of Québec but I am sure USA has some nice ones too : )
That being said, it started snowing last year on November 2nd in Toronto (light snow though) not quite sure when it will start snowing in Toronto this year. So if you do plan to come, please come sooner rather than later : )

Yes it can just as it has snowed in MA when I lived there in the beginning of May but it is not normally snowing that early.

I would plan to go very soon, don't want to risk December

How Often it Snows in Buffalo

list monthly for amount of snow and how many days it snows at least 0.1 inches (0.25 centimeters).
10-year snowfall averages at Buffalo, 2010 to 2019 Days
Month Inches Centimeters
October 0.1 1.8
November 6.2 15.6
December 19.0 48.4
January 29.2 74.1

.
I'm in Cleveland and yes it can. We've had snow as early as late October, but it's usually fleeting. Generally, though, it's unusual to have real real snow issues prior to mid to late November.

Yet Rascorp is from Florida and snow can be daunting if you're not used to it. Even here on the North Coast where we get plenty of experience driving in the white stuff, it never ceases to amuse me that when that first snowfall arrives each year, people seem to have forgotten how drive in it.

True. Perhaps my weak attempt at levity doesn't help.

And you'd love when it snows here in Vancouver. THERE's a time you don't want to be on the roads.
