My W213 from 2017 have Active park assist, but suddenly it does not work after i got retrofitted widescreen/digital cockpit.

My car finds the parking space but When i press the center console button to choice the parking space nothing happens? Its like it registre that i press the button but nothing further happens. It doesnt say put the car in reverse?

I told the shop my problems but they say it have nothing to do with their installation.

 

Anyone have a idea, what it could be?

 

The screen retrofit broke it.

Hi, imagine I have the same case. After changing to the digital meter, the parking assistant behaves the same as yours. Have you solved your problem? Regards Maciej

I have the Digital retrofit in my car and my parking assist still works. I don't think the retrofit has anything to do with the packing assist. You could bring it to MB if you have warranty and tell their your parking does not work but don't mention your retrofit.

 

Can you confirm if you still have your car that Park assist still works? Looking at getting this done and would hate to lose this feature.

Yes, in my C-Class I had the digital screen retrofit and everything continued to work however you must make sure that the programming was done correctly plus you must make sure the retrofit is compatible with your NTG unit in your car.

I have the same issue. After I got retrofitted with a widescreen, the autopark is not working. When it detects a parking spot, nothing happens when I click 'confirm'.

Was anyone able to fix it?
