MBUX: music micro cut outs when scrolling through menu + playlists not complete
Scrolling through the car's menus, while playing music from my USB stick , causes micro cut outs.
Anyone else experiencing this ?
Like with COMAND, MBUX does not show the complete playlists (whether m3u or wpl).
All lists are there, but they only have half or less of the songs.
The system does show the correct total amount of songs, so the music IS there...
Could it have something to do with the size of the stick; 512gb ? ( I know some cars can't handle such size at all)

tried already but makes no difference.
I've 16.500 songs on the stick . it's a lot, but not extremely excessive i think.
When i test the created playlists with windows player, it works just fine ...
Less annoying than those micro cut outs though ;-)

I have found the number of entries on the Playlists is inconsistent between media syncs also. I have an SSD with 38k and most playlists or genres will never be over 1-2k pretty consistently. A SD card may have 5-6k and the playlists still do not reflect the real count. Very annoying.
As I recall in my previous experimenting the playlists format didn't seem much to matter. I use a M3U (with relative paths) as the configuration which yields a \Music\Artist\Album and \Playlists off the root of the portable media.
On a plus side (if there is one...) I started doing a Select All media and Random on Medium which plays so much I have never heard before!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
