2020 E180 Buying advice
Hi All,
I am in Karachi, Pakistan and am pulling the trigger on a 2020 E180 (1.5 litre engine) AMG package.
I have owned Beamers, Jag, Audi etc but never owned nor driven a Mercedes.
Question i have is: When i test drove the car in question i noticed a slight lag in deceleration when in comfort and economy mode when i lifted my foot of the gas pedal. I would accelerate and when i removed my foot it felt for a second or two that the car was still slightly accelerating or staying at the same RPMs (not decelerating). When i put the car in sport and sport + mode this issue was gone. Car was responsive and as soon as i removed my foot the car start decelerating, rpms started reducing. Is this normal in this car??
Rest is awesome in this car. just this one issue in keeping me from pulling the trigger. Let me know please.

I doubt the car was accelerating after you lifted your foot from the gas pedal. Probably more like coasting, less engine braking than you are used to with older cars. Engine braking can be adjusted to your liking, no worries there.
