W213 heated seats for rear

Most of the E300s do not come with this feature in USA.. Any suggestions on the possibilities of getting this? Any after market good ones that fits well to this car without a lot of wires or spoiling the interior looks? My kids want it!

I had rear heated seats added a few weeks after I bought my W213. I went to an upholstery shop and they placed the switches in the back of the center cubby just below the center air vents.

Do these automatically reduce heating power gradually if started at full power (do they have three settings as OEM?)?

Mine are rotary dials. I have 5 settings and they stay at whatever setting you've chosen until you lower them or turn them off.

Probably quite OK. The highest setting just needs to be low enough not to burn anything if the seat heater remains switched on e.g. when no rear passengers. The OEM seat heaters can be more powerful when they switch automatically to a lower setting after a while. Anyway, must be fine for a retrofit option.

Thought I'd show the end result.
