Spare tire kit - where to store?
Hello all. I drive a 2020 E450 Coupe, and I'd like to purchase a spare tire kit. The factory trunk well isn't large enough for a spare tire and tools, and I'd like to know if anyone has successfully replaced the factory well with a replacement that would provide enough room for everything needed for a spare tire kit. I would appreciate any recommendations! Thanks in advance.

I have a sedan but I would imagine the trunk is even smaller in the coupe. In my sedan, the space below the trunk is too shallow to store a spare tire, not even a donut or a collapsible spare. I think the Mercedes engineers already claimed the space underneath the trunk for some of the components. Most people simply sacrifice their trunk space for a donut. If you buy a wheel storage bag, you will not smell the rubber. Not an ideal solution but probably the most widely used one so far for owners with no spare and travels in remote areas of the country.

Thank you for your advice - looks like I'll need to take this option, as I can't accept the fact that I don't have a spare tire! Much appreciated.
