Hi guys,

I have a e class 220 d amg line estate 2017 and when I’m sitting in it strange things happen! Every 5 to 10 mins maybe sooner if I’ve open a door or touched a dial my parking brake light come on along with my foot well light as well as a clunk like something has been turned on, it also sets of a winding noise in my seat belts…… every so often when it does it it winds the analogy clock back a few minutes.

Any ideas, I’ve swapped the battery out still does it I’ve stopped driving in eco mode to see if it gives the battery more charge but no joy.

Sounds like an exorcism is in order That sounds awful, I've not heard of anything like that. Are you able to have the car scanned for trouble codes?

I’ve have put a scanner on it (not a cheap eBay job but not a star) and nothing but that’s not to say my scanner is covering all bases, the only thing that is not work on the interior is the passenger side foot well light. I haven’t had time to take it to Mercedes yet.

The analog clock resetting itself sounds like a poor power supply. Make sure your battery posts are not loose and alternator fully charges the system battery.

Let your dealer have a stab at this if you will. Hopefully this will restore all circuits to working conditions.
