2018 E300 doesn't come with a spare tire?
Hi,
I checked the compartment under the trunk and I see a compartment to store things but didn't see a spare tire.
Does this car not come with a spare tire or something similar?

Congrats on your new Mercedes, chances are, you have runflat tires and your car does not come with a spare tire. I usually have an air compressor and a can of tire sealant in the trunk just in case.

Here in France , no spare tire, nor run flats (unless as option)
It did come with a compressor and a sealing product, though that usually doesn't even fix it temporarily

I find it difficult to believe you didn't know this tire business before you acquired your car.

Yeah, apparently your car originally came with run flat tires ("RFTs" — a great idea that suck in practice).
However, the tires on your car may have been replaced with "regular" tires (i.e., NOT RFTs), and if so you need to stock your trunk with various things like a portable inflator, a can of Fix-A-Flat, etc., to deal with a flat tire should one occur when you're out in the middle of nowhere. For longer trips, you might want to get a "real" spare, such as one of these:
Search the forums if you're interested in leading what others have done with respect to RFTs.
And BTW, RFTs are not immune to blowouts.
