Special wiper blades for heated spray?

I am looking to replace my wiper blades, and my E450 wagon had the heated spray option. Searching seems to come up with different wipers for this model with heated windshield wiper fluid ($$$) and cheaper options for non-heated. I believe the wipers themselves have nothing to do with the heating, the fluid seems to be heated before exiting the nozzles, so do I really need special wiper blades? Does anyone bother replacing the blades with MB parts, or just Bosch or other aftermarket blades?

Thanks, but all the ones that come up say "Not for cars with Heated Washer System (Code 874)" unfortunately.

MB capture provided is VIN specific & part # shows correct for your VIN @ this site claims, I suggest confirming with local dealer parts.

Thought to check, data card for your vehicle does not list code 874.

FWIW:

This is what I found:

Wiper blade for heated is part 238-820-06-01 cost $119 a pair

Wiper blade for E450 non heated is part 213-820-36-04 cost is $59 pair

As the fluid will only be heated in the winter, I do not know there should be a different wiper blade at twice the cost.

Good catch, is 874 the Magic Vision system and 875 (which I have) just the heated washer fluid? Would make sense if the 874 blades are more expensive as they route the spray.

Go get an A or B service and wiper blade replacement is supposed to be included - Free with oil change

Wiper blades are not included in either the "A" or "B" service, However, my dealer at the "A" service changed them under warranty and as a courtesy under the "B" service. Other dealers charge for new wiper blades.

Just looked back at the documents from my prior B and A services since purchase (CPO), wiper blades have not been replaced at either service, as you said. Perhaps the earlier poster has a more generous service center....

My bad guess it ended with 2015??
.
See attached page 3 of 7 of MY15 E Service PDF - shows Wipers change every service.

This repeats in the Service Requirements .PDF - it again says blades changed for A & B service See page 3 of 5.

But the Service Book in Car .PDF - States to just check blades. See page 16 of 38.

Guess it is all up to dealership/repair shop.

I will stick with mine.
