Is 2023 E-class identical to 2022
I want to order a 2023 E450 4MATIC sedan. I'm in Long Island, New York. My sales rep has given me some information which doesn't seem right, so I want to check with you guys.
She says that the 2023 models and prices are not yet available, but that the 2023 is identical to the 2022. The MBSUSA website does not yet allow me to build a 2023 model, so I have to build a 2022 model, and she can order a 2023 model with the same specs. It will be built in Germany and delivered in 4-6 months. She also says that 2023 the prices are not yet available, but she can estimate the price and we can order it based on her estimate, and she'll know the exact price later.
Is this actually correct?

Ummmm…she is full of it. I ordered a ‘23 model mercedes in December. The system the dealership uses is different than the consumer website. I would ask another salesperson or go to a different dealership.

I'm using this site to create my build: https://www.mbusa.com/en/vehicles/build . All the E-class models show only 2022, not 2023. The website lists prices, and allows me to save the build. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong.

You are not doing anything wrong. The dealer has access to a better build site through their systems. I just sat through it and it included actual photos of options and 2023 pricing. They should know what to do.

We have had our 2023 E cab for months now and you still can't configure one on the website. However, the dealer order guide and the full pricing has been available for even longer. Find another sales person and/or dealer.

It's unbelievable that they finally have the prices up for 2023 on Mercedes's USA website when the model year is probably almost over.
