polishing central panel?
polishing central panel?
Hi,
I just purchased e63 wagon, and it has piano black interior. While piano black is pretty, the whole center section is scratched up. I was able to find some 2inch polishing pads online, so I'm thinking of polishing that part. Has anyone done that?
On the side note, I really love the ash woodgrain design, has anyone tried combining ash woodgrain (center) and piano? can you share a picture?

IMO, I would be very leery of sanding/polishing any of the wood trim. The wood in the W212s is a very thin veneer, and I suspect the W213s are no different. Polishing pads sound too aggressive to me. Someone else with actual experience with piano black can offer more information...
