Looking for set of Coil Overs

Hey All,

I was looking for a set of coil overs for my 2017 E-300 4-Matic. I recently ordered the coils from BC Racing but didn't realize they only had a RWD option. I am not too experienced in other manufacturers that have a 4WD option that are as reliable and in a similar price range. Curious to know if anyone has had any experience with this model and how limited the options are for this specific trim. I really appreciate the help in advance!

Santi

I ran Silver's on my AWD w205 and loved them. Excellent quality, adjustment and dampening. I installed them myself and everything lined-up perfectly.

Also, since they are fairly close to me in Florida, I visited in-person once and they are super cool people.

Here's a link for their W213 coilovers:

Thank you Keith! When you ordered yours, did you need to specify to Silver in the build notes that your version was AWD? Wanted to avoid making the same mistake twice. Much appreciated.

You're very welcome

Yes, I would definitely add your year, make, model and specify AWD so there's no guessing.

All of it matters, as even between the 4cyl & 6cyl, they have different spring rates.

Also, just to add as info: there is a "super low" option. I'm not sure who would need that, as I had the "standard" kit and I lowered my C300 by 3" and I could've gone even lower if I didn't have tires, lol.

I went with the Swift spring upgrade in the front... probably moreso for vanity reasons cause I liked the copper colored springs.

I really appreciate all of the help! Definitely leaning towards this brand and planning to pull the trigger. Seen lots of positive reviews and their support specialists were helpful / seemed cool as well when I reached out. Will be sure to post an update once I go through with it. Thank you again so much.

You are very welcome! Best of luck whatever you end up doing.

Definitely would like to see pics if you end up going with coilovers.

Update

Figured I'd give an update. Ended up pulling the trigger with Silver's! They ended up fitting fantastic and am super happy with how they came out. Thank you so much for the recommendation as it made everything so much easier!! In the future I myself will be recommending Silver's for coils. As mentioned I am adding a pic of how it came out!! Much appreciated again!

That's awesome to hear! Man, your car looks great!!!

Glad you are happy too. I remember when I took mine out of the box I thought "I don't think I paid enough", lol. High quality stuff.

You're very welcome!

Have fun adjusting the damping for the next two months, ha ha ha.

Haha thank you boss I appreciate it! Take some credit for the current aesthetic as the lowering was possible due to your recommendation. As for the dampening and adjusting so far so good! Its settled nicely so far. I got an alignment as well the day they went on, but noticing a drift now when holding the wheel center so planning to get another one soon to be all set. Definitely feeling the potholes though much more as these NY roads are rough lol. Many thanks again!
