New '23 E450 AT

Just got a '23 E450 wagon (now called "all terrain" but very similar to prior '20 and '14's we have owned).
Two questions for the experts here:
(1) The car has the latest MBUX and has headsup display. There appears no way to change the position of the heads up that I can find. The touch pad on the left side of the wheel allows for turning the display on and off but nothing else. That can't be right but I can't figure this out.

(2) Has anyone found a rubber mat to fit the rear cargo area? The mat from the '20 does not fit; they must have made some slight changes. I cannot find anything that is OEM or otherwise.

Thanks in advance

2019 E450 Wagon
Can't answer about MBUX, since my 2019 Wagon has COMAND. However, picking it up from the dealer, they should have done a walk around with you. If the dealership isn't too far, you could go back and ask for a tutorial on the heads up controls. And, there is always the manual .

However, I purchased a rear mat from WeatherTech and found the fit and quality to be great. I'm sure they have one for the '23.

Congrats on the purchase. Great car ! Incidentally, the “All Terrain” is a separate model from the E450 wagon, and in Europe, they sell both models side-by-side. The All-terrain variant having a couple of inches of additional ride-height, in addition to the plastic wheel claddings.

Can’t comment on the HUD, since mine does not have them. As suggested above, weatherTech is a good source for a custom-fitted mat, even though for my E-class, I have not outfitted it with one.

Welcome the to A/T club!

I have a genuine MB black rubber mat in the rear cargo area. Perhaps ask your dealer as they are available.

Thank you! Do you happen to have a part number for it?

You're welcome.

I will pull it out tomorrow morning and see if I can find a p/n on it as I will be loading up the cargo area to go to the transfer station AKA the dump!

The grey blanket (to coordinate with the Selenite/Neva grey colors) is to protect the rubber mat that protects the carpet.

It is p/n A2138140100. Called a boot tub, shallow, it should fit all W213 station wagon models.

We use the factory plastic liner, too. Slightly less pristine.

We have the HUD in our GLE and there is no adjustment - I find the display actually a bit low - the bottom is cut off when I have the seat adjusted comfortably for me. At that seat adjustment, I cannot see the entire HUD - yet there is no height adjustment for the HUD display in the windshield. Assuming it is the same in the 213 with MBUX. (Odd because later model GM cars with the HUD have some degree of adjustment permitted.)

to change the heads up display, on the steering wheel. (forgive me I am not in the car.) But as I remember, you go to the haptic button on the left-hand side in the center and press home, as if you were going to change the display on the dashboard and you scroll up, and then you get the settings for the heads up display. You can move it up and down or right and left and you can pick what appears on the screen the speed, your instant mileage, how close you are to the car in front of you and a bunch of things. This way you can move it around, depending upon how tall you are.

This. At least that's how it is in the W213 with MBUX. I did it myself, these instructions are accurate. It's also in the manual in case you need to review instructions. It's a bit awkward to control but it's the way.

Thanks for the link…..another version is a deep boot tub, via the link you posted above. This version seems to be raised by almost a foot on the 3 inner sides
