2024 E450 in the USA confirmed?
There's been multiple reports of the E450 edit: all terrain being continued on for the 2024 MY, but I just asked my dealer about an Order Guide and they said it isn't coming to the US for 2024 (and proceeded to steer me towards a 2023 MY which I'm not interested in due to no premium audio option).
Can anyone confirm or deny if the E450 All Terrain Wagon will be coming to the US for 2024?

The E-Class is confirmed to have both a 350 and 450 Sedan at the moment for MY24. An E-Class All-Terrain (aka wagon body style) is not confirmed technically, however it was submitted into the EPA.

2024 (W214) wagon has not even been unveiled to the European market yet. Won’t see a US order guide for a while.
OP - Have you heard the Burmester (part of the premium package) in the 2023 (W213)? It sounds excellent…

That's why the 24 MY is of interest to me, according to the burmester website, the e series will have a "high end" 3D surround option, (currently available in the 23 AMG E class but not All Terrain). I am wondering/hoping it will be an option in the 24 E Series All Terrain.

Roger that, thank you. I haven't heard it myself, but coming from the bowers and wilkins system in my volvo, which is more than twice as powerful as the burmester surround in the 23' e class, I'm afraid it will only be a downgrade from what I currently have.

For my ear, I find the Burmiester system in my E450 excellent. I have no complaints!

I previously had a 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback with a Bang & Olufsen 3D system, which was really nice and I could actually feel the air moving at my feet (woofer). That being said, here's where I place that system based on the recent vehicles I've had or still have:
1) 2023 E450 (Burmester)
2) 2022 Audi Q5 Sportback (Bang & Olufsen)
3) 2023 AMG C 43 (Burmester)
4) 2022 Mercedes GLC 300 (Stock Mercedes)
What's odd, is I assumed the 2023 AMG C43 had the same Burmester system, but it certainly doesn't. Bass was much weaker and overall sound less "full" at the same EQ parameters. I haven't done much research, but it would seem the Burmester system in the C-class is lesser than the Burmester system in the E-class.

The E class is a luxury car.
I would always expect the sound system in a luxury car to be substantially better than in an economy car.
Just my $.02

On the Burmester website, both have 13 speakers and 590 watts. But the E sounds much better.

I've had a similar experience with the sound systems. I went from a W205 (C300) to a W213 (E43), both having the Burmester system and the W213 sounds noticeably better.
If (if) they are both equally spec'ed, maybe the interior space volume or layout has a positive effect. (?)

The Accord and C are both mid-size cars. I've driven both and the C seems to be much more solid to me. That being said, I was referring to compact and sub-compact vehicles such as Mercedes A & B classes versus (Asian) Civic, Corolla, Elantra, Forte, Mazda 3, Prius and (EU) Fiat 500, VW Golf.

In Europe it is different: There is little Asian competition.

Years ago, Japanese and German cars were very different. German cars were better built, better material, less noise/vibration and performs better. Todays Asian cars are much better and complete well with the Germans. The C class should be better a comparison to the Acura TLX as oppose to the Honda Accord. With that said, the C class is a nicer car than the TLX. Mercedes still sets the benchmark for many Asian car manufacturers.
