Rear Deck Rattle Suggestions
I have been able to mitigate this by wedging some weather stripping foam all the way along the back window between the back shelf and the rear window. I have used a foam pipe insulator that I cut in half and wedged in behind aswell. The problem is that with the constant pressure the foam eventually flattens and needs to be replaced.
does anyone have any suggestions on what I could use back there to keep constant pressure on the back shelf and wedge between the window and shelf?
I have already tried to remove the shelf to address properly but that determined to be a much larger job than I expected and I hit road black trying to remove the A Pillar covers and gave up in rear I was going to snap something.
I have had some ideas like using a thin piece of wood covered with felt but not sure if this is feasible as the gap varies in width as you move along, I have also considered pillow stuffing and just stuffing as much as I can under the shelf using a ruler to keep the constant pressure, does anyone else have any ideas?
