Comand screen freezes
I have a 2019 E300. Occasionally when I start the car (can be first thing in the morning or after I’ve been in the grocery, time or temp doesn’t matter) the comand starts going through its screens “Mercedes Benz” and the logo and then “Do not let comand distract you” and it freezes on that screen. No audio, no backup camera, nothing. If I turn the car off and then get out and shut the door then get back in and start it the Mercedes Benz screen comes on and the command shuts off and reboots and then comes back on.
I’ve had it to the dealer 4 times and of course it never misbehaves there and I get a repair order saying “no problem found”
any ideas?

When it freezes, drive to the dealer, keep the engine running and have the service tech take a look. Ask for a firmware update (if any). Otherwise, just reboot COMAND using the power switch on the console and live with the issue.

too many things go with these cars... a simple OTA software push has notably corrupted the OS/system and made the COMANd/ Instrument Cluster problematic for many people.. i did extensive research on this subject.. yours may have warranty, get it fixed starting with software reset with a dealer (some folks turned to an older software that worked)
