Odd issue
Wife's 2016 E400.
Needed a jump last week; battery was dead. Jumpstart went fine; car started up and maintained a charge a week.
Car then sat for a week in a garage. It's been cold here.
Went to start the car today and it would not start. No crank, no turnover. Tried to start using the actual key rather than the button.
Tangentially both driver and passenger windows are struggling to stay "up" after closing the doors. They scoot up, drop, scoot up again, and stay in place.
What's going on here? Battery (per my wife) is "newer."
Mods feel free to move to more appropriate sub forum.
The window issue....does that point towards a battery problem at well?
After a little bit of "you said it was a new battery" and "No I didn't" turns out that the was referring to the KEYFOB battery.
Uggh.
Taking it in tomorrow for.....probably a new battery.

It is very exposed under the unprotected chassis near the hot cat muffler.
That defect directly helps create marginal charging conditions.
AGM batteries are good for 10+ years double conventional ones. They are the very best there is.
