AC problem

Hello , I have a problem with my E class W213. When I turn the heater , on one side is blowing hot air an on the other side cold air. Went to the dealer to do a diagnose and they said that probably the heater mixing valve is broker but they have to remove full bord of the car to know for sure. I am wondering if any of the owners had the same problem and a solution for this . Thank you

.
Double check that the temperature setting are both set the same. Otherwise the different settings fight each other.

There is no mixing valve, no valve separate for the right and the left side. Did they mean a flap misbehaving within the HVAC unit?

The dealer said air mixture flap servo motor or air mixing valve blocked .
