Hello all,

For some years I have a red square marked zone on the map in my comand.
I don't know how to turn it off.
Any one knows what it is and how to turn it off?

That red square - is it always the same geography or always the same place on the screen no matter where you go? If it is geography based you or someone may have set up a geo fence. Some folks set a geo fence so they are notified if their car enters certain geographies. If it is on the screen in that spot no matter where you are there may be a problem with the screen itself.

Its clearly not the screen as the square is different in 3d view.

Never seen this. Anything special about that area? It seems to mark something. When was the last time you had your maps updated? Looks like you have a 2017 model year, so maps are not updated automatically. Maybe it's a bug in the map database from that year and updating the maps will fix it. Unfortunately, you'll have to visit a dealership to update your maps or reach out to third parties such as BenzNinja.

Hi all,

It was a fixed zone red square at my town.
It looks like it was a geo fence, but don't know how it ended up there!
Maps were updated to 2024 version and still had the red square.

Had the comand system updated by the dealer last week (never done before) to version 06.80.00.40 and the red square disapeared.
